TBV Lemgo has suspended coach Markus Baur and sporting director Daniel Stephan before the first match against SC Magdeburg at 10.09. Baur was coach since january 2008 and finished last season with TBV Lemgo on 4. place. After bad results in preparation and failed the Champions League on Wildcardtournament with 3 loses in Leon the Club finished the work with his Coach. In same moment they suspended sporting director Daniel Stephan, the former world handball player of the year worked togeather with Baur in the last season.
For the first game assistent coach Jürgen Franke and Czech nationalplayer Daniel Kubes will lead the team. Who will be the new coach is not fix now. Possibilities are maybe the national coaches from Belarus Iouri Chevtsov or former coach from THW Kiel and now coach of Slovenian national team Noka Serdarusic.
