German national coach Heiner Brand tested 28 players in two games versus Belarus. In first team on tuesday the German team beat Belarus with 28:20. At the beginning the german team dont find into the game, after 11 minutes comes the first lead with 5:4. On the halftime the result was 14:10, but after the break Belarus comes back and shortend the result to 15:14. Then defense of the german team was better and they could expend the score to 20:15. Germany made some mistakes in offense but there was no chance for Belarus to edge the German team.

At the second game on day later Germany at also problems at the beginning of the match. Belarus could make the game exciting till the result of 12:10 but till the break Germany expend the score to 20:11.
In the second half both teams tried a lot of formations but the german team played without risk and made a good test for the European championship in Austria and won the second game versus Belarus with 36:24.

Heiner Brand tested 4 new players, Benjamin Herth from HBW Balingen/Weilstetten, Patrick Wiencek from TuSEM Essen, Jacob Heinl from SG Flensburg/Handewitt and Matthias Flohr from HSV Hamburg.

The last two games before the Championship will be against Iceland on 09. and 10. january.
