What was mentioned in the past months, now is reality. Halid Demirovic is no longer the coach of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which ended on the 3rd place for the EC in Austria just behind Russia and Serbia, and previously got kicked out from the qualifications for the WC after the incident against Hungary. This was the reason for terminating the cooperation with Demirovic.
"These things happen, and it's up to me now to accept the decision of the Handball Federation of BiH. Regarding the national team, while working there I did everything I could to help the team achieve better results, as much as I could. I think that it is also my contribution that there is a good atmosphere in the national team, and that the general public is now more interested in handball", said Demirovic.
