Second round of qualifications for EURO 2010 brought to us different types of matches for Ex-Yu countries. Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina showed very convincing performance against their weaker opponents. In very acustic sport hall "Cair" in Nis supported by 6000 outstanding fans, Serbia beat Italy 48:24 (21:10).Goal difference between to teams was in proportion with form of Serbs and their ambition to come back in first row of European handball. A lot of fastbreaks produced in best scorer left wings, Curuvija (8) and Markovic (6). The next games Serbia playing against Swiss (in Zurich) and Russia in Nis.

Bosnia and Herzegovina took two easy points against Faroe Island 45:28 (21:12). Dominik Klein scored in last seconds of the game between Slovenia and Germany 26:27 (13:13) and steal both points for his team in silenced "Zlatorog" hall with 5000 sad domestic fans. Slovenia was very close to make surprise against world champion (24:23), but on the end, players of coach Miro Pozun had to put their head down and left the court. Most efficient at home team were Pajovic (7) and Spiler (5), but also good was Lapajne with 18 saves. In winner squad, Muller (6) with Preis and Kraus (both 5) showed the best play.
