The new coach of Pick Szeged is Dragan Djukic, who already led the team from Szeged between 2000 and 2003. Beside leading Pick Szeged, the former national team coach of Switzerland and Macedonia, and coach of Red Star and Vardar and few other clubs, will also lead the national team of Great Britain with which it will participate in the Olympic Games in London in 2012.
Pick Szeged is currently leading the pack in the Hungarian league, with 8 victories and 1 defeat, with Veszprem their biggest rival, having 2 game less, and are undefeated still. The defeat by Keczkemet last wednesday, was the reason of parting with former coach Vladan Matic, and before that also a defeat against Constanta in Romania happened, and the chances for their advance in TOP16 are now all theory.
